GM recalls 117,651 vehicles for potential electrical short issue

General Motors Co (GM.N) on Thursday said it is recalling 117,651 newer vehicles in North America because a possible manufacturing defect could cause an electrical short and increase the risk of a crash. GM said it was unaware of any crashes, injuries or fatalities related to the condition. The recall is GM's 69th this year, covering more than 29 million vehicles globally.
