New Microsoft CEO Shapes His Team

New Microsoft Corp. chief Satya Nadella has started to put his imprint on the software giant. Mr. Nadella, the third chief executive officer in the company's history, said Monday that Microsoft executives Tony Bates and Tami Reller will be leaving the software giant, the first sign of fallout from his appointment last month. Mr. Nadella announced these departures and related changes in an email sent to Microsoft employees, which was posted on the company's website. Mr. Bates had been considered for the top job that went to Mr. Nadella, a longtime Microsoft executive who succeeded Steve Ballmer on Feb. 4.
