Once again the clock is ticking on the debt ceiling. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew sent a letter to lawmakers on Friday saying that he has begun to implement extraordinary measures to continue paying the country’s bills but if congress doesn’t raise the debt limit by February 27th the U.S. will have to begin to default on its debts.
